lady_phenyxI really wanted to get at least a fic for Tales of a Dreambender done for the holidays, or start posting The Starlight Princess, but I don't think it's going to happen. There's so much to get done. I even started some of it back in the summer, and it's going to be down to the wire anyway!
I have gifts to finish, ornaments to make, rooms to clean (our move means there at least one room full of stuff that needs organized and put away) and though I'm working on them every day...there's no way the room one is going to be done in time. :(
I'm sick of living this way, of having all these things piled up. But sometimes it just seems too big to conquer. Like I'm Miles in The Phantom Tollbooth, moving a huge pile of sand one grain at a time.
Still...they're all going to look amazing when they're done. Even if it takes me a few more years to finish the organizing.
I'm trying to clear the writer's block I've got on the TAU fics, and maybe once the pressure to finish ornaments and presents eases up, I can get them done.
(I want to do our small white tree in a pastel candy theme, but no one makes ornaments I like in my price range, so it's painting dollar store ornaments the right colors and making candies for me.)
