WARGHBLBLARGHL
Oct. 23rd, 2010 03:50 pmYeah, so, another fun time.
I was checking my gmail, and got one of the script error boxes. Fine, go to the start page. Well, as soon as I do that, Avira guard shuts down. This time, though, I get an error message. (The one about trying to reference memory that cannot be read.) So I try and get it open again. It doesn't want to. Eventually, four windows opened - and would not respond. I tried to open My Computer before it happened, and after they opened, a minute later it did. I closed it, and everything but the wallpaper went away. I used task manager to close the not-responding Avira, and most of my icons in the taskbar were missing when it came back. So I told it to restart, but it was just sitting there - so I hard restarted it.
When it turned back on, I was missing Cacheman. I tried to get it to open, but the main icon just wouldn't. So I turned the computer off again. It takes a long time to start up, but it did - normally. So I think it's normal again, but - argh shaking like a leaf for a bit there. So not good.
I think I may get to go look around for RAM next week, and it won't be a minute too soon. I just hope it fixes everything.
