lady_phenyxSo, the uncle visit worked out great. Really a pretty good time, and now stuff works again! Yaay!
Unfortunately, there are new problems today. My computer was working for most of today, but then this afternoon firefox quit working altogether. It won't even open. Then IE decided it wouldn't get on the net either. Firefox refuses to uninstall. I've tried restarting it, restoring it, all kinds of things. Now I have a couple error messages that I got a few times before popping up like crazy, and no connection to the net although it claims to be connected. Wish me luck, for I may have to reformat the damn thing tomorrow. I hope not, but I've tried everything I can think of and everything the net here will tell me. I don't think I'm going to lose too much - I managed to save most of it tonight after the computer calmed down a little. I will lose some bookmarks at the least, but I think I can find them again. I'm not sure, as I can only remember a few that I want to find again, but here's hoping. Wish me luck, everyone...those of you who lived with me before probably can guess how tomorrow's gonna go.
