Update on...well, everything

Just realized I promised to say what happened with my grandpap and computers. After we finally got to the store (took five minutes on the way to try and explain that 'do not enter' did not mean the road was closed, just that it was one-way) we tried to explain the computers on display to him. I'm not going to go into too much detail here. Let's just say, he thinks computers are like tvs - you turn them on when you want, flip the switch and turn them off when you're done. Ten minutes at least trying to explain turning off the computer. Needless to say, he didn't buy one.

I'm watching Hogfather right now. It's awesome. Great job transferring book to movie, on this one. That's a rarity. This Susan rocks.

Not much to talk about, really. We're all ready for the holiday here. Don't feel much in the spirit, but I'll try and fix that tomorrow. Yay holiday movie marathon! Got Emma's Jugband Christmas, Muppet Christmas Carol, Disney X-mas cartoons, Grinch, Charlie Brown, and Rudolph all set up. If I'm not in the spirit after that, there's no hope.

One last thing...if you haven't, you should go check out the Skippy's list homepage. He's been telling stories on there. It's like a blog now that he's out of the army. My favorites explain about the rubber sheep, why #2 is that his title is Specialist Schwartz and not Princess Anastasia, and the "Pie doesn't have tentacles!" (which isn't on the list, but ought to be.) Much fun.

Oh yeah...got bored and joined Gaia too. Gives me something to do, that and neopets. Check out my avvie!

Heh, I'm on Gaia too. ^^ Anyway, understandable about your grandfather not buying a computer. Mine won't touch one either right now. My dad doesn't even like em. I'm considering getting an iMac desktop after I move out of the house and save up some more money.
