lady_phenyxJust a quickie here. Nothing really to blog about, so I'll focus here.
Those of you that know me know that I'm not big into movies. As in, I do not enjoy going to the theater, watching movies in a group, etc. Every so often, I do manage to find a movie I like. I'll pause so those who have hung out with me can recover.
Done freaking yet? Good. I actually watched a movie today - I have a Netflix, so these things keep coming to me so I end up watching them - but this wasn't one of mine. It was actually one of mom's. Blah, you say, Mom movie Yeah, well, whatever. I had to watch this, since every time I would pass by as she was watching, what was on the screen would be so different from last time. First time, it's two old men sitting on a porch shooting at traveling salesmen. The next, it's a big fight scene in some Arabic country.
So this is my dare. I dare you to watch this movie. It's called Secondhand Lions. Don't be put off by the hokey sounding summary. Just give it a try, ok? Remember, this is the girl who practically hates movies recommending a movie. It can't be that bad. ;p What have you got to lose?
