Soooo sleepy...

Let's start this off with an admission of reality - I'm in a blargh mood at the moment - one of those ones that happen when you get mad after denying that you're depressed. The depression is from a lovely circular happening: 1. I need a job; 2. I cannot find a job; 3. I need to find a temp job to make money to save for moving for when I find a permanent job; 4. I cannot find a temp job. Lather, rinse, repeat. The anger is from silly little things - some of my favorite videos on youtube have been taken down for 'copyright violations'. They were just Danny Phantom fan vids, geez people. (Yes, I like Danny Phantom - get over it.) It's no more copyright violation than fanfiction or fanart. At least, that's how I view it. Apparently they think differently. The other pissy thing also comes from Phantom and Nickelodeon - they refuse to acknowledge that a cartoon might *gasp* have a continuity or that American fans might actually want to see the 6 episodes they've released in Latin America. So they show episode 6 of the new season here - an episode that revolves around a character we haven't met yet - and that's it. >.<^ We'll see if youtube allows the nice people who uploaded the episodes to keep them up long enough for me to see them.
Okay, stuff that is amusing me to brighten up my otherwise depressing cycle...not having a job means I don't have to go out into the cold unless I feel like it (haha at all you poor college peoples...do you have snow too? 'Cuz we finally have plenty. I'll send you some. We have had a lovely week here of single-digit temps.) Another is that I have discovered the fun of the online comic Something*Positive (http://www.somethingpositive.net). I suggest using the archive to begin at the first comic and go from there. Also, there is http://watch4whales.livejournal.com/29083.html . I laughed so hard I cried. Then I read it to my mom and we both laughed so hard we cried. Read it. Now. Am also working on updating my website...wish me luck. I'll probably post about it when I'm finally done. Most likely a futile thing...but I bet some of you would have been amused by the 13 pages of spam gibberish I found in my guestbook. (Deleted them, so sorry. ];p )
