Hello out there. It's me, your lovable stay-at-home, can't-find-a-job-to-save-her-life buddy. First off, obviously been taking awhile to post 'cause guess what? Nothing happens here. Unfortunately for you, dear reader, enough has happened and it has been so long that I have quite a bit to say.

I guess I can start off with Xmas. Pretty good around here, found some cool stuff for family and got some cool stuff. Finally replaced the ratty looking notebook I've been using on a daily basis as memo,calender, and reminders with a spiffy PDA. Loving the Within Temptation CD, as evidenced by my CD player being stuck on 'repeat' ever since Christmas. Still need to get games for the Nintendo DS I managed to lay hands on. Who has suggestions? I already know I want Elite Beat Agents, but that's the only one I'm sure on. Not too much to really talk about for the day, normal presents-in-morning, hang out, go-to-grandma's-for-dinner family Christmas.

I also got a pair of PS2 games for XMas. Prepare yourself for squeeness and ranting. If you are not interested in PS2, I suggest you skip to the ------.
Gave you a warning. Okay, so I got Dance Factory and Okami. Dance Factory ROCKS, as I have quite a few CDs of music that works with it. A bit frustrating, but hey.
Okami. Been waiting to get this one for awhile. I know a couple of you have it. I thought I was doing pretty good at it for awhile - played for almost an hour before I became completely lost and had to get help, which is practically a record. Bad thing? It's too addictive! This is the first time I've spent so much time sitting in front of the TV playing a game nonstop. Just a couple breaks for food. How long? 8/9 hours. Big time record for me. Maybe not for some of you hardcore gamers, but it is for me. And OMGWTFBBQ the Spider Queen in those ruins!!! So not fun. But why is it I can beat her, but those *censored* dog soldiers kick my butt? >.< Yeah, stuck at the dog fights. Grrr...made worse by the fact that my help file describes them as 'easy to beat'. My ass. And why does nothing I do hurt them???

Okay, in other news...I tried to grow some stuff in the garden over the summer. As some of you know, I then went with my family down to Cape Hatteras twice and in that time, the pumpkins took over the garden and surrounding areas. We had too many pumpkins to eat, so some of them got set outside. It seems that the deer we have around here not only are not very afraid of humans, they also like pumpkins. Apparently for the fun factor as much as for yumminess, as we were treated to the sight of deer chasing each other over our yard while carrying pumpkin bits in the first annual deer pumpkin olympics.

Online stuff now. Anyone have any hints for uploading animated icons onto Livejournal? It keeps refusing to let me, no matter where I try from. Keeps saying to file is too big, that it should be under 100x100 pixels. Well, it is, and there are icons out there with a bigger file size. Argh. How do you like the new one I did manage to upload? ;p

I finally uploaded one of my pics onto deviantart - got about five more to do. -_-^ Anyway, the weird thing for me was the only comment I have gotten thus far.

Alright now, this post has gone on for far too long. Maybe if I quit now I can actually talk about stuff in a new post, ne?

Wow, I'd just about lost all hope! You post less often than I do, and that's saying alot. Anyway, Steve and I got a PS2 last Christmas and it took until this year for me to finally get a game. I am still addicted to Okage which is now so out-of-date that it is just about impossible to find. Ok, that is enough for now AND the pink stuff in the attic IS TOOO cotton candy! it goes great with the paint chips!
